Tourism may contribute 30-40% to budget of Nizhny Novgorod region

Nizhny Novgorod region has all conditions for development of any kind of tourism, be it an environmental, business or cruise direction, so tourism must contribute 30 – 40% to the budget of the region.

It was stated by Minister of Small Business Development and Support in Nizhny Novgorod region Denis Labuza at the awarding ceremony of the regional contest Leaders of Tourism Industry of Nizhny Novgorod region in 2011.

According to Labuza, there is the need to develop tourism infrastructure and create a single tourist center that will work in this direction.

Minister noted that there will be qualitative changes in the tourism sector of Nizhny Novgorod region in the following 2-3 years.
