The volume of foreign investment in Nizhny Novgorod region in 2011 increased by 2 times compared to 2010.
It was stated by deputy governor of Nizhny Novgorod region Dmitry Svatkovsky at the press conference on Wednesday.
According to him, the volume of foreign investments in the region in 2011 totaled $770 million, which is 7 times more than in 2005.
Svatkovsky noted that the best European transaction in 2011 was the loan of 150 million euros to RusVinyl for the construction of an integrated complex for the production of polyvinyl chloride in Kstovo district.
