This year, the growth of Russian automobile industry can increase by 10-15%. It was stated by Executive Director of Association of Russian Automakers Igor Korovkin in the interview to Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

He mentioned that in 2011 Russia became the second country in the world after Germany in terms of auto industry.

Korovkin also said about the prospects of specific industries, in particular, he noted the actual revival of the company IzhAvto in the structure of AvtoVAZ and Renault-Nissan. The expert thinks that the plant will get high levels of production this year.
