JSC RUSNANO and JSC SITRONICS announced about joint production of microchips based on 90nm technology. The new line will double production capacity.

The total project budget is 16.5 billion rubles including 6.5 billion rubles of Rusnano.

The successful launch of the project will create a platform for further development of the domestic microelectronics industry and entering the growing global market in time.

90nm microchips are used in computer systems, foreign passports, smart cards and areas related to e-government.
