Venture fund Maxwell Biotech opened an international office in Boston

Russian Venture Company USA and venture capital fund Maxwell Biotech opened a joint office in Boston on Feb. 9.

Venture Fund Maxwell Biotech which is under the control of one of the leading financial companies in Russia Maxwell Asset Management was established in late 2008 as a public-private partnership between JSC Russian Venture Company and private investors. It is the first Russian venture capital fund that specializes in investments in biotechnology projects.

Opening an office in the United States will allow the fund to significantly expand its expertise and investment opportunities, obtain additional resources for the qualitative development of existing companies and provide global presence for the commercialization of developed products in Russia and abroad.
